Step 2. Register, Clone and Edit

This lesson explains how to Register on Ancient Brain. It also explains how to Clone and Edit Worlds.

In fact we have made some changes:

  • You now pick your password at registration.
  • You now have "Clone and Edit" buttons on every World page and every course page, so you can get into the editor in one click.

The World here draws some random smiley faces. Click on it to run it.

Exercise for you: "Clone and Edit" the World. Change the values in the box at the top of the code, such as the colours used. Click "Save" and "Run" to see what it does. Don't worry about breaking it. You cannot cause any damage!

Ancient Brain is looking for a partner to co-write a JavaScript or Python coding book for schools, to be used worldwide. This would be a course for students in learning to code from scratch. The book and course will be integrated into the Ancient Brain site. This is an opportunity for someone looking to develop a course and textbook to partner with a site to promote it. Read more.
